Only In God's Timing

Everything happens in God's time but there is always the selfish part of me that says "but I want it now". LOL!

I turned in four submissions for the DT Calls and was unfortunately turned down. I am not sure why, as I feel my submissions were equally done well, but I guess not according to whatever standards they hold for selecting you.

I did however receive an email from one of the owners of the companies I had submitted to and she said "For me not to get discouraged" and did compliment me on my details and the photographing of my submission, and gave me a few pointers to help for the next time and to just keep submitting when Design Teams are being called. She also said "Sometimes it takes a bit for companies to fully realize what potential you have and the one you submitted a few months ago maybe the exact style they are looking for the next round".

I really appreciate her taking the time to email me and be honest with me. I was feeling rather down after being notified that I had not been selected, but after her email today, it help brighten my day knowing that there are still other chances out there and most importantly "Just Be Patient and Wait on God to make it happen".

I am so sorry about your experience. I do know how you feel, I have been submitting cards for publishing and also for DT and it seems like they are never good enough. It can be very frustrating. I did finally make my first DT at The Cuttlebug Spot and am so excited for the opportunity to be able to work with them. I hope that you don't let this discourage you and that you keep doing what you love. I am also glad that a card I made was able to encourage you. Thanks for the comment you left on by blog.

I am so sorry. That is tough. It is such a big vast world of stamping out there. Keep trying. I love your work and you will get there. You have lots of talent. I started submitting and contacting lots of different companies. I finally got one from Firecracker Designs by Pamela. It was a guest designer and I loved it. Just keep your faith in your stamping. You are a great stamper.
Huge hugs.

I am so sorry that you were not chosen for the DT. I am sure God has something bigger and better planned for you!

I am sorry you weren't chosen. Please do not be discourage as your creations are wonderful. Don't give up. Persistence is the key. I know that's tougher said than done.

I just got turned down for one is discouraging, but you have to just keep trying...just because your style doesn't fit them right now doesn't mean it's not good!

There are so many opportunities out there...there's sure to be one or two that will be a great fit!
